Shower Daily
Shower as soon as possible after exercising. Many people fail to do this and are incorrect when assuming they do not smell. What happens is your nose gets fatigued thereby, not being able to smell your odor. This effect occurs with car air fresheners as well. You won't smell it after a time, while others will tell you it's quite strong.

Do not over-apply perfume or cologne
Many people are allergic to perfumes and you will, unknowingly, cause a reaction. Plus, there is no reason for people to "smell you coming" or smell you once you've left the room. Dab a little on your wrists or neck for a subtle smell.

Wash your hands after using the bathroom, before eating and after possible contamination
f you want others to wash their hands after toileting, then you should wash do the same. Some people do not even wash after defecating. This spreads foul germs on door handles and elsewhere. Whenever possible, wash your hands and use a towel to dry them.

Use the towel to open the door to avoid more germs. Don't set your purse on the floor or counter in a public restroom- you'll transport germs around with you all day!

Use a clean piece of toilet paper or your elbow to flush.

When washing hands the Center for Disease Control recommends that you use soap, and lather the soap in warm water for at least 15 seconds. You can sing Happy Birthday or the ABCs in this amount of time. People commonly rinse their hands for 1 or 2 seconds or fail to use soap which is adequate to kill germs. Proper hand-washing is an easy task that can save lives and prevent the unnecessary spread of disease.
Wash and change your clothes
You don't have to throw clothes into the wash after one usage (with the exception of underwear). But know when to throw clothes into the wash. If you stain your clothes with food, then wash them. If you sweat, at least wash the underclothes if not the outfit. Dirty clothes are another source of bad odor.

Practice good bathroom hygiene
Always wipe yourself clean and wash your hands using plenty of soap and warm water.
Clean after yourself when using the toilet
f you miss or splash while using the toilet, use toilet paper to clean up. Do this so you don't get a urine smell in your or others' bathrooms. You DO NOT want to be known as "he who pees on the floor" or "the guy who keeps on missing." Even be clean in a public toilet; for the next user and the poor employees who clean up! That means putting your paper in the proper receptacle and not on the floor!
